Mommy's Little Monster was one of my first punk rock records i bought in 1984 and its still an all time favorite! So glad Mike is back to health and kicking a.. like he's always done! His records really got me through some rough times, and I am a fan for life.

I love this and I love Krieger. His delivery is so great. He’s the man. He was there. He was pals with Jim. BUT, I feel like I know Morrison since after all I have been studying him for 40 years. I don’t think Jim wanted to sleep with his mom. Come on RK! I think Jim was f***ed up because of his decisions he made to ostracize himself from his family. I think that’s what drove him to drink himself to excess. I also think his death was an accident so I wouldn’t say he drank himself to death. Great interview. I lived in Venice Beach and all over L.A. for 18 years. Favorite band The Doors. Saw RK play in Hermosa. Amazing show in a little bar. Early 90s.

I’ve seen mason Jennings in 2002, 2007. His song butterfly was on the legendary surf movie SHELTER. a wonderful soundtrack that sprung New Slang by the Shins. So I became a big Mason fan. And then to see him join up with stone was like worlds colliding George!

How many band have the variety like the Cult has within their song catalogue? I think that's the quality I appreciate more than anything else with them. Everything from the harder rock stuff like Sanctuary/Coming down to softer songs like Indian/If to electronica The witch/Black sun to dreamlike tracks like Vendetta x, it's just a fantastic band that deserves a hell of a lot more recognition. It's kind of annoying.

Chris's voice is finally losing some of it's power. And that makes me sad, but we all get old. I remember seeing BC with Tedschi Trucks and he absolutely wailed that night when Susan tried to upstage him. It was glorious, both of them just absolutely going for it trying to outdo the other.

He was hilarious. Died from a pulmonary embolism shortly after this. I wish people would understand how addiction destroys the bodies of people who are clearly so special. It’s a juxtaposition of a genius gift and a chemical imbalance that destroys that gift. I look at Billy Gardell and his weight loss journey with gastric bypass and weightloss drugs ( which only rich people are able to get now) and wonder if John Pinette had Wegovy if he’d still be with us. But I don’t know. Pulmonary embolism can happen to anyone at anytime. RIP
